Took great care of our furniture and kept on budget. The guys were great to work with and would hire them again! Have used them four times and never disappointed.
We moved from Old Town to Newport and they were great!! Very personable and kind. Made sure our furniture and other items were protected. We have an old house with a very steep and narrow staircase and they found creative ways to get things up to the second floor. Worth the price for kindness and convenience. All four of the guys were fantastic.
Ron's Moving was the best! Every interaction was pleasant and professional and Vic, Zach and Lee were brilliant getting our furniture up tricky stairs. We have always done "friend" moves, but decided to hire movers this time. I am SO thankful! Truly an amazing company to work with - hire Ron's, they are worth every penny!

We had a great experience with Ron’s Moving Company! The reservation process was easy and the confirmation reminder a couple of days before the move was appreciated. The moving crew (Cody, Joe, and Tony) was absolutely amazing: friendly, polite, efficient, and constantly in motion. And they pulled it off in 10 degree weather the day after a snowstorm! Make them your first call if you need movers!
I recently hired Ron's Movers, in Holden Maine, to move an elderly relative in an assisted living residence. My relative was downsizing from an apartment to a large room so much of the apartment contents had to be disposed of. I was very concerned how we were going to separate and manage the move. Nick met me at the facility and immediately put my worries to rest. He told me the move was no problem, I didn't have to worry they would move whatever was going to the new room and anything left in the apartment that was useable they would take to a charitable organization. Three movers arrived on the scheduled time and were wonderful. They were kind, professional, helpful and could not have been nicer to work with. Ron's Movers handled the entire process efficiently and professionly. I highly recommend this company. They are outstanding.
This was truly the best moving experience ever. They were super professional and accommodating for my December move, planning around weather events, even opting for a Saturday move when all other dates fell through. 3 men were assigned to move all the furniture for my 2-bed second floor apartment to 3 bedroom house single story house and it took less than 3 hours! They were super nice and very efficient and careful with all my items. Any furniture pieces that had to be disassembled were reassembled once put in the new place and they took direction very well when it came to placement and arrangement. I could not be happier with them; 10/10 for all involved!!

The price was affordable. The two gentlemen that moved our storage unit into our house were right on time, and efficient. They made it easy for my wife and I by placing the items in the rooms we wanted. They didn’t complain about having to take majority of the heavy items into the basement, yet they looked at it as a fun challenge. Nothing was damaged! They did point out some previous existing damage prior to moving, which I appreciated.
I moved to Maine from VA. I just got done running a moving company as a GM for the past 5 years.. and I have to say.. These guys are LEGIT PROS! Take it from someone who doesn’t know it all.. but knows a lot about the industry. I will hire Ron’s moving every time I need help.

The price was affordable. The two gentlemen that moved our storage unit into our house were right on time, and efficient. They made it easy for my wife and I by placing the items in the rooms we wanted. They didn’t complain about having to take majority of the heavy items into the basement, yet they looked at it as a fun challenge. Nothing was damaged! They did point out some previous existing damage prior to moving, which I appreciated.

The crew that loaded my U Pack van this morning was fantastic. All three of them were extremely professional, punctual, and incredibly efficient. The movers were gentle and professional with my 80-year-old mothers' items and even took the time to comfort her when she became anxious over the move. That's TOP LEVEL service! 3 workers moved some large items from old apartment to new in 85 degree weather. It was very hot but they were very professional and friendly, and handled all my items with great care. Since my apartments were pretty close, they even removed the truck fee which I really appreciate. They moved all my stuff in an hour. Do know that they start timing as soon as they leave Holden so it’s not just the moving time you’re paying for. Overall would recommend to any college kid or otherwise!

This was our 3rd move with them. We moved 4000 sq ft home contents about an hour away. They took great care with all our furnishings, wrapped everything and ensured everything was right on delivery. Very efficient and professional movers. Best service we’ve ever had and we’ve moved 10 times!!!! Can’t recommend them enough!
Ron’s Moving recently relocated my parents belongings as they are selling their home of nearly 50 years on Mount Desert Island. The movers were prompt and SO efficient. They took enough time to understand which items needed to go where (3 locations), developed a plan and worked quickly with great compassion. They were a well oiled machine. Teamwork was evident and their attitudes were fantastic. They called for a second truck which arrived quickly and that team was just as amazing as the first. The three guys were awesome. Had a few large items that needed to be moved from one lace to another in Bangor. They were in and out of both places in less than an hour. They were very polite shaming hands and introducing themselves. Worked well together making each other was good. Very professional and definitely will use them in the future

My entire family were in awe of these movers. Nick gave us an estimate of the cost to move and came in several hundred dollars LOWER. When the 4 men arrived (as scheduled and on time) they asked for a tour of the house and what and where contents were to be moved (3 different places). Then it was “full speed ahead.” It was a hot day but never have I seen a team work faster, co-ordinate every move and so efficiently, all without a negative look or voice. Sooooo pleasant! If you are not hiring RON’S MOVING you’re hiring the wrong company!

Used this mover yesterday for my Moms move from a house to an apartment. Totally impressed with the whole process! The three movers Ray, Doug, and Justin were awesome….professional, efficient, and hard working. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend! Ron's Moving recently moved the contents of our home in Orono to MDI. The crew of 3 arrived promptly as scheduled and proceeded to carefully and efficiently load the truck. Our job was complicated by the fact that the furnishings needed to be loaded to facilitate unloading in 5 different buildings on MDI. They thoughtfully and with a positive spirit rose to this challenge. The delivery on MDI went smoothly and without any damage whatsoever. I was impressed with the pride and professional spirit shown by the crew. My wife and I agreed it was the best money we've spent in a long time! Great experience with a business that represents the best in rural Maine!
Fantastic service. Totally got me out of a bind when a different company delivered my couch and got them stuck in my hallway and left me high a dry. One guy from Ron's was able to get the couch unstuck put back together in the right place. Nice and professional.
We recently started a food pantry and needed assistance in delivering a large quantity of food to us. We had a date pre-planned and scheduled, but unfortunately our supplier was closed due to weather. We had to reschedule on short notice and Nick rolled with it seamlessly!
Without prompting Nick asked about what we were doing and decided to donate the service to us. In a long and stressful day, his gracious offer warmed my heart and truly made my day.

This was our first time using movers, and we will never use anyone but Ron’s again! They made the whole process easy, and went above and beyond! We had originally only planned to have them move our family, but ended up asking them to move our in home child care as well. They did so willingly, and with kind attitudes. Ron's Moving recently moved the contents of our home in Orono to MDI. The crew of 3 arrived promptly as scheduled and proceeded to carefully and efficiently load the truck. Our job was complicated by the fact that the furnishings needed to be loaded to facilitate unloading in 5 different buildings on MDI. They thoughtfully and with a positive spirit rose to this challenge. The delivery on MDI went smoothly and without any damage whatsoever. I was impressed with the pride and professional spirit shown by the crew. My wife and I agreed it was the best money we've spent in a long time! Great experience with a business that represents the best in rural Maine!
Fantastic service. Totally got me out of a bind when a different company delivered my couch and got them stuck in my hallway and left me high a dry. One guy from Ron's was able to get the couch unstuck put back together in the right place. Nice and professional.
We recently started a food pantry and needed assistance in delivering a large quantity of food to us. We had a date pre-planned and scheduled, but unfortunately our supplier was closed due to weather. We had to reschedule on short notice and Nick rolled with it seamlessly!

This is my second time using Ron's Moving. I highly recommend them! They are accommodating, friendly, quick and efficient! We were moving from an apartment to a storage building. Everything was moved with great care and stacked into the storage building with the most effective use of the space. Will definitely use them again! Great company!
I can't praise Rons Moving enough. We had a move from Wisconsin to Maine via PODS to their facility in Portland, and contacted Rons Moving to do the final leg of the move to Mariaville. A move like this is stressful, but from the first call to final payment I felt at ease when dealing with them. They communicated with me extremely well throughout the process, without even seeing our stuff their estimates were within 5% of the final total, and they seamlessly handled issues with PODS that arose that were entirely my fault. Our stuff was moved quickly and placed almost exactly where detailed. What a great company to work with.

Nick was extremely helpful as I was trying to organize a move from CT for my parents who live in the Hamden area. He answered all of my questions thoroughly. Unfortunately, secondary to the weather the original date had to be rescheduled, which he was apologetic for and worked with me to get the next available day.

We hired Ron’s moving to move my mother who has health issues. These guys were excellent, professional and hard working. She has a lot of older stuff that we had limited time to pack. everything was wrapped and strapped on the truck. Not one item was damaged. No damage to the house or apartment and they couldn’t have been kinder or friendlier. Their rates were comparable to other movers we checked out but well worth it. Did I mention the wind chill was 30 below? Didn’t phase them. I don’t write reviews but this one needed to be written.

I went with Rons Moving to help me move from one house in Bangor to another and I can not say enough just how amazing they were. Matt and he crew showed up and were simply amazing the entire move. Incredibly professional, speedy and talented. I have worked with movers before but nothing compares to this team I would strongly suggest them to anyone looking for a moving company. If I had to rate them on a 10 point scale I would give them an 11.

This is the second time we used Ron's to move our elderly parents from one apartment to another in the same assisted living facility in Orono, ME. They were AWESOME! Extremely courteous, friendly, careful, fast and efficient workers. I was stunned at how quickly they got everything moved. I would definitely use again and strongly recommend them.
I would highly recommend Ron's Moving to anyone. First, Nick was so very helpful providing me with the information needed, he was always available for questions and was very inviting and accommodating. Then, last week, 3 movers from Ron's: Dominic, PJ, and Cody, came and professionally and carefully moved my entire household to a new location 3 hours away. Not only were these three gentlemen hard working, fast and efficient, but they were also very pleasant, comforting and encouraging in what was a difficult situation for me. On the loading end, they were willing to shift many items that were NOT being relocated in order to get to the items that were. They also faced awkward stairways, multiple flights of stairs, heavy furniture and lots awkward boxes gracefully and capably. I have moved many times over the years, and this was the very BEST experience I have every had with a moving company/movers ever. I was both impressed by and grateful for a job well done! I will call Ron's again whenever I relocate, and will recommend them to anyone who is moving. Do yourself a favor and hire them!

We found ourselves in an unfortunate situation and in dire need of movers at the last minute. I immediately called five or six movers I found on Yelp and literally Ron's Moving was the only one that called back. I had no idea that those other businesses actually did me a huge favor! I dealt with Nick at Ron's Moving. He was highly responsive and was both incredibly helpful and accommodating to our situation. He was able to assemble a crew and sent four of his amazing team members over to help us. I can't believe how fast they moved us in! It was a great experience and I literally cannot say enough about Ron's Moving! The price was right but most important, their service and DELIVERY ON THEIR PROMISES was above and beyond!

Mark and Allen moved me from lime stone to Bangor. They were very efficient and professional. Even when the elevator broke down they continued to move my stuff up three flights of stairs. I would highly recommend Ron’s moving to anyone. If I was able to give more than 5 stars they would get it.

These guys were fantastic! They were great with scheduling and called the night before to confirm all of the details. The three guys who came to complete the move arrived early and got right to work. They were extremely quick, efficient and very polite. When they arrived at my new residence, they placed rugs on the floor to ensure they didn't track wet feet into the house and even swept my porch to reduce dirt. The company owner called halfway through the move to check in with me and be sure everything was going as planned. I couldn't recommend these guys more!
Very prompt, professional and careful with our belongings. We had large items including two large china cabinets, a piano and treadmill that were treated with the best care. We were referred to Ron's by another moving company that could not staff our move. Ron's came to the rescue with plenty of manpower.
